User Reviews

The flimsy handle makes this product very dangerous.
Less than 2 months after I received the product I was picking it up from the stove when suddenly the handle popped right off.
I consider myself extremely lucky because I was able to somehow land the kettle on a counter top without breaking it and/or spilling the boiling-hot water all over me. I would recommend avoiding this product altogether and not risk severe burns or lacerations. -- Dangerously flimsy handle!
I was interested in getting a glass kettle for a while. I saw all the positive reviews here and ordered it. It actually came the very next day. Other than making a great cup of tea, my only complaints are that you need to hold the handle pretty low down as to avoid burning your hand from the steam and the spout pours the water out a little sloppy. Other than that, it's a great glass kettle. -- Great glass kettle
Beware, the handle gets extremely hot! I purchased this after reading reviews here and while it heats up fast and clean since it's glass there is a major design flaw because the handle is very close to the glass bowl and it gets very hot. Also, when pouring out your now boiling hot liquid, the handle design requires you to really tilt the kettle forward and thus you have steam going straight onto your hand.

Though this kettle is good because it's glass and heats up quick I can't recommend it because of the design flaws which make it unsafe imo. -- Hot!
I just bought this and used it for the first time. I just want to warn everyone to be careful of the handle. I picked it up and almost dropped it because it was so hot. Thankfully, I wasn't in a rush and was right over the stove so I was able to set it back down and got a towel to wrap on the handle. After reading other reviews about this, I will place this off-center from the burner and hopefully will avoid that problem, but it was a big surprise and definitely a negative for the product. It could have led to a terrible burn had I dropped the teapot. Be careful the first time you pick it up so you don't burn yourself or drop it! -- Hot Handle--be careful!
Have been using all manner of kettle and kettle hybrid, but excuse me - don't use in high heat? It took me ages to get the water to a boil!! Much better to soak the leaves in a cup and microwave on high for 2 minutes. -- Takes ages to boil water and is very flimsy
